$1,000 is not a realistic budget for a new set of wheels with tires

$2,000 is a little better (with tires) but will leave your options also limited

Your best bet will be to find a used set of wheels and have them painted red if that is your intention.

Thanks for the tire sizes too, gives me a good estimate of what I need to spend for the tires. I am probably going to be having Forgestar custom make my wheels in a custom red color.

Here is what I have compiled so far.

Front:

Wheels - Forgestar F14 - Custom Red - 18×9.5 Semi Concave

Tires - Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position - 255/40R18XL 99Y BW

Rear:

Wheels - Forgestar F14 - Custom Red - 19×10 SUPER Deep Concave (Will ask Forgestar if they make this in 19x10.5 as recommended here)

Tires - Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position - 285/35R19 99Y BW

I think so far so good? Let me know. I will be discussing with Forgestar on the offsets.

They are really rated high by past purchasers - I tend to put alot of weight into user survey/reviews on TireRack.

btw just checked out the Continental Extreme Contact DWS you are looking at,
they are just as highly rated as the Bridgestones I am considering.

A bit more expensive, but they are like a 540 wear rating, so they should last a really long time (this is usually at the expense of tire "stickiness" and handling though). They are also all season vs summer tires for the bridgestones. Are you in phoenix or northern AZ? ask you self if you want or need all season tires (again, the tradeoff for some mud/snow traction is generally less road holding sportiness)

 

Yea man, you are right. Back to the drawing board for me. Your Tires look good man and you are RIGHT A LOT OF TIRE for the price man...I am comparing prices and have a lot of credit at discount tire and these are in stock there so, looks like they are the winner for now! And they are rated well. I do live in AZ so I don't know what I was thinking about trying to get All-Season. So I will edit my post above...and keep researching!

They actually had about the same price online for those Bridgestones, even though TireRack is on special now, especially once you factor in the cost for install. They also have that same $70 visa cash card for a purchase of 4, but it's only good till the end of this month, so you might be outta luck cause you gotta wait for your wheels.
