Has anybody noticed the rear end kind of "loose" with the new alignment specs?
A more detailed description :
2003 Touring with Eibach springs and rear adjustable camber arms. Had it aligned to latest specs.
Since then, noticed two things :
- on almost any type of bump, the rear end seems to jerk to the right (passanger side).
- Today I had a chance (rare) to drive on the rain on the hwy. At 45 or so, the rear end got "loose", like it was sitting on top of a bar of soap and started to move sideways on the lane. I would have thought it was hydroplaning, but the front was ok, only the rear was loose, and the road was wet, but no puddles.
It was kind of scary.
My impression is I have no camber at all and the tires are sitting too much straight up.
Alignment experts please opinions...
Thanks.

I had it aligned because of the Eibach springs drop. As expected, camber was out. I purchased the camber arms anyway, expecting to use them, so I did. It ended up perfect on back (per latest specs) and the front camber was out by .02 degrees, which is not adjustable but seemed so little to me.
As I said, the front is cool. It is the back that seems loose.
I am going to lookup the print out and I will post specs.

Oh, and Gus, does the performance shop in WPB do alignments?? I might drive up there just to get this done "perfect". I know I have the camber arms, I will pay for it, I just want it done right!

This brings back up an interesting chat I had with the tire guys. They were perplexed at our tires. If you follow the direction of rotation per the arrow on the side, the thread makes the water move to the center of the tire, instead of spitting water to the sides.
By looking at the thread, it seemed ( to them, based on their experience) that the rotation direction arrow was backwards...
Weird, no?
If this is true, the thread pattern is moving water towards the middle and the water would lift up the rubber...
Did anybody notice this before?
