TPMS Receiver location?
Hi Guys,
Does anyone have a photo of the 350's TPMS receiver in position? or a detailed diagram/description of where to find it?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2005-NISSAN-350Z-TIRE-PRESSURE-MODULE-TPMS-OEM-03-04-05-06-/181189258345?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a2fb8ac69&vxp=mtr has what I'm looking for but I can't see it under the dash.
I understand that disconnecting the receiver will stop the flashing psi warning and stop the multi-guage resetting to the tire pressures every time I start the car?
The previous owner put aftermarket wheels on the car and I guess they didn't bother with the sensors as all the tire pressures are ok but I still get the above issues and the dash warning light.
I've had a look under the dash in the passenger footwell but I'm not sure which connector to unplug. Has anyone done this?

This is located just to the left of the center close to the black plastic dash piece, I had to pull one of the clips out so I could get my hand up there. not easy to reach, plus I was upside down in the passenger footwell to start with.
I disconnected the large connector and the psi has stopped flashing and the gauge defaults to the last used display as it should.

the pic above should help, as you look at the dash from the passenger seat. the receiver is located just to the right of center. It's not too far up from the lip but getting an angle to see it is bloody difficult.
I ended up upside down with the back of my shoulders on the floor and my legs almost in the back of the car. hence when you look up the receiver is on the left of what looks like the circular blower motor housing.
