Default 17” wheels

looking into getting a new setup to replace my stock wheels on my 2004 350z enthusiast. This model comes with the 17” wheels as you probably all know and my question really comes down to is putting new 17” wheels on the car a bad idea?
Currently my car has eagle good year 225/50zr17 up front with 235/50zr17 in back and they are in great shape with lots of tred left. When it comes down to it i really would really like to keep the tires and replace the wheels.

If i purchased 17x8 or 17x8.25 with 35mm offset all the way around is this going to look bad? I know obviously the 18” wheels will look better but good ole college not leaving me with a lot of cash

wheels i am looking at (Gun metal color) - http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...oModClar=Coupe

Thanks so much guys
Caleb!

The width and offset will be similar to stock. Those rims are nice though. Throw on some spacers to make them stick out of the wheel arches more if you like.

It will be stock. the look will be the same as stock.

It won't look very good. There will be a big gap.

Enkei makes great wheels, the ones I wanted are now discontinued.

I think you should get 18" wheels though.
