Default Powder Coat stocker 17s or go XXR

Looking to change up the look of my wheels. Just lowered the Z a week ago on some gf210's..

Current tore setup is 225/50 235/50

Im either going to buy some 25f/r spacers and powder coat my stockers gray little darker than oem..or.. buy some XXR 521s silver 18x10+12f&r square on some 275/35 275/40. Opinions?

XXRs. Why spend money on the 17s that are worth only 200, maybe 300 bucks?

Cost to powder coat all 4 plus spacers is about $350. 531s will be $550 plus tires. So I'm wondering if spending a little more is really worth it to people...

I don't think the odo hit 500 miles when my 17s came off. Car wasn't broken in yet. lol If you are truly into modding this shouldn't be a question. If it's not your thing or budget is tight, leave it stock.

I would keep saving for something nice, I would rock stock uncoated 17's for an extra month or two before I thought about XXR's and I wouldn't bother powdercoat ing a stock 17.

oem wheels are much better quality than xxr's, but I understand why you'd wanna change it up. i'd say save for better wheels. alternatively, you could (grabs firesuit) plastidip the stock wheels to partially satisfy the craving for new wheels. it'll be crap, but different.

My good friend gave me his 370z wheels today hahaha too bad their the 18s and NOT the 19s, they have like 90% tread. Should look something like this..

Powder Coat stocker 17s or go XXR-image.jpg

Rear fitment is perfect, fronts will need spacers...20mm?

370 18" Wheel Specs

F: P225/50R18
R: P245/45R18
18x8 +43
18x9 +15
.....literally just realized front tires are taller and front offset is crap Yay!!
