and you could potentially run the same wheels that the Liberty Walk GT-R had at SEMA. IIRC those were SSR TF1 in SBC
TF-1 in Titan Silver

Cause why would I buy wheels that someone already else has when I'm getting a partial sponsorship on wheels that no one else in the world has and I can get in any spec and finish that i desire?

Cause it's a gamble!

Every hear of those wheels company's in Florida and what they did to the market with these "one off" and "only sets in the world" type wheels?

Hair line cracks

Leaks

I completely forgot the company names but I stay shy of company's claiming all this customizable ability by using renderings only...

Hopefully someone else can chime in...

Also what's the price they quote you with sponsorship? I would compare that to what a set of works/ssr's would be in that same offset with no special colors. I know SSR hikes the proc up way more than works just because of the finish.

I've done one off wheels and I've had friends do one off wheels before. It isn't a big deal. As a matter of fact, there's a member on here with a 350Z and a 300C (I can't remember his forum name but the ig usertag is E85_Hemi) with one off wheels on his 300 that my buddy Anthony had built about 4 or 5 years ago. And they're still hanging on.

The key to wheels is doing your research. There are PLENTY of legitimate companies that do cast and multipiece wheels CORRECTLY. Import buyers don't generally utilize them because we're somewhat wheel snobs, but the euro and domestic market seem to branch out a bit more.

That said, I can see why you're going the route you're going.

The company is art in motion or aim wheels, my buddy had a set of their wheels and they were definitely quality. Their wheels are forged.

Would you be referring to Cor Forged? Cor Forged had this big ordeal with I think a mustang that cracked a wheel on the track.

That price is "sponsored"? i honestly think you are paying all out.
If you were paying around $2000+ then i would see the sponsorship on the customizing end. Then again, I am not in that business so I honestly dont know.

Most wheel sponsorships ( or sponsorships in general) still have you paying cost or a hair more....in that light, manufacturers get your marketing for free..and you get a healthy discount. . Still quite beneficial.

Sponsorship doesn't mean FREE in MOST cases. I think a lot of people have that misconception. And, to be sponsored, you have to have a car that doesn't really NEED to be sponsored. Something you've already built that already has a following or show presence. I think a lot of people see a built car with sponsor stickers and assume that some company paid for that car. Not the case at all. If the scene knew how sponsorships worked, I think that most of the scene would stop asking for sponsors. It's a lot of work to be sponsored. Trust and believe. It ain't all gum drops and lollipops.

Understand. Didn't expect free. Just figure at that price I would probably do things myself, as in order custom wheels from work, hre etc.
although what he seems to be going for is a very unique setup which I understand wanting to pursue that route as well.

Well, you won't get custom specs from any notable wheel company at that price. I mean, you can go with some different offsets. Hell, even Varrstoen does that. But truly custom spec wheels run about twice that or more (depending on company and sizing).

How wide of wheels and what offset do you guys think I will need to achieve a nice flush look?

Here is a pic of my car and the rocket bunny kit

I got my wheels from vrwheels.com. They made me 19x12 and 19x13s. 6.5 and 8.5 lips
