Black on Purple/blurple or Teel/turquoise???
I have a black 2006 performance model 350z. I'm thinking about getting new rims soon and having them painted, or buying them pre painted. I've seen blue, red, black, bronze far to often those seem to be the colors everyone gets. So I'm thinking about going with a dark purple or a blurple witch is a blueish purple color for those that don't know or like a turquoise color. I would like to get some opinions on this, let me know what you guys think, personally I like the purple the most I feel black on purple is an awesome look.

With the colored wheel look, It seems like any bright color has about the same effect. People will either love it or hate it, so you might as well pick what you like best.
Personally, I feel like colored wheels are a bit gawdy. I'd rather buy better wheels with the extra painting money.

of the colors you mentioned I'd probably vote Teal.
fan of polished cognac on the black. more of a vip look. not sure your style with the car and wheels though. Also polished vs satin vs matte vs brushed finishes all make and impact on what color you decide as well.
Not affliated with this wheel brand or any others or am I particular on the style just a representation as they have good shots of colors and finishes and I had the pics on file.
polished cognac on black
close up polished cognac
sort of burple for reference
red also for reference
Can also do combo of colors like you have the turquoise here on the hardware. can probably combo with some turquoise lug nuts and center cap/brake calipers etc.

There was a big fad of cars having teal wheels in socal.
I'm a real big fan of the black/gold black/copper look
Purple would look sick as well!

Sparco is right, BBS is top shelf, getting harder to come by as Tirerack has them locked down as only US distributor.
I like colored wheels sometimes, and have an O6 roadster in black. Saturday my Enkei RPF1s go on in silver. Call me vanilla.

Bronze is for people who don't seek attention. Clearly, this is not what he's going for.
Do a candy color in a polished finish. However, understand that if your car is not low and your wheels are not aggressive, it will look like total and utter BUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLSHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT. If you get "fake" wheels, get the ones that look like "real" wheels and it will LOOK the same. Most wheel companies can powdercoat your wheels for you before shipping. That's what I'd do..well..I wouldn't nor did I, but that's what YOU should do. You don't strike me an individual who's going to take apart and rebuild your wheels.
