2 and 3 piece

just looking at the axis se7en rims....they have the 2 and 3 piece. they look the same in the pics. what is the main difference?

The two piece have the face as one piece and the outer rim as the other piece.

The three piece have the face as one piece and the outer rim is in two pieces, or two halfs, to make it a 3-piece wheel.
