What you cannot see is the Jaguar flag. Yes, I have Alfa disease, I keep a 2.0 liter engine in the shop to keep this at bay. I am a long time road racer. The sports racer body work is spares for my Radical Prosport race car. I just sold my RHD Porsche 914-6 race car because it just got too expensive to run. I bought the Z because my daughter turned 16 and claimed my Mustang GT convertible. The Z is just an awesome commuter car.

I got the gocart in trade for my Honda CR480 to my nephew. I am to old and fat to use the cart so I wait for my brothers kids to get old enough to use it. My daughter did do some driver training in it.

I am an engineer, machinist, and welder. This shop is my retirement. Once the kid is off to college the Z will go to another garage and the fab shop will be used for fabrication only. The crane is rated for 3 tons. The Radical is what I take to the track.

You should make a new thread on all the cool stuff you do in that garage.

Ooooo, an older Radical. Nice. You run that in DSR?

Seriously, man, nice "fab shop".

The SCCA has changed the class structure. I am setting the car up to run Prototype 2, P2. The Radical doesn't change but the engine combination I chose is a stock GEN2 Hayabusa. The car with me in it should weigh about 1300#. The engine should put out about 155 hp at the rear wheels.

Default Miro 111's

I have pulled the trigger on Miro 111 wheels 8.5x18 +35. The front had to be spaced out 12mm to clear the Brembo's. I used a solid spacer with longer studs. This squares the wheels on the car but I chickened out on squaring the tires. I chose the stock tire sizes. The tires are BF Goodrich G Force All Season. I like these because they are really good in the rain. Here in GA we get a good bit of rain and it is not the slight misting stuff, we get gully washers. Here are some pics.

Hey, it's your car and that's what matters. If you're happy, then that's all she wrote.

Wheels look nice.

Looks great to me. The bright machined finish of the wheels is nice against the dark SMB paint. Keeping the staggered tire size isn't a bad idea, either, because the car will throw error codes at you if the diameter difference front/rear isn't within a specific range.
