Default S-Tune WITH VDC

So here is the question. What are the pro's and cons (if there are any) to using the S-tune suspension with a car equipped with VDC. More specifically, has anyone read anything that states that the change in ride characteristics caused by new suspension components has any negative impact on the effectiveness of VDC. Furthermore, if you install the current S-tune suspension on a VDC car will you no longer have the warranty that comes with the S-tune? Also, will nissan dealerships install S-tune on VDC cars? Would you imagine that this is a dealer specific decision? Lastly, I read somewhere that a S-tune setup was coming for cars with VDC. Can anyone confirm this? Any input that you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have S-Tune on a car with VDC. Installed by a Nissan dealer and warrantied. No adverse effects. By reading some of the many posts on this exact question, you will see that the suspension is ok for VDC. The only time VDC matters is when your tires are slipping (TCS) or are about to slip (VDC). All it does for me is ride and handle much better. No issues.

If you experience slip does the VDC seem to work as well as it did before the S Tune ?

Yes, I don't understand how it would not work properly. The only change would be that it may take a little more pushing for VDC to kick in since there should be less yaw movement with better suspension. TCS will not be affected since that just cuts power for tire spin.

Lastly, is your suspension warrantied by nissan even though you are "misusing" their suspension?

Yes it is warrantied and not being misused. Talk to Performance Nissan in CA for more. The only reason the disclaimer exists is because the suspension was tested on a Z without VDC. Don't worry about it, seriously. There are a ton of people with VDC and S-Tune. It's FINE.

Thanks, I PMed Jeff or Jason, I don't remember which, with more questions. The reason I was so skeptical is because the parts manager at one of my local dealers told me that it couldn't be installed on a car with vdc. I knew this was BS but wanted to find out waht the full story was.

We have not had any problems with Nismo Suspension on cars with VDC... I have the NISMO WHEELS and VDC on my car and no VDC when not needed.
