"Creaking" after traction arm install"
Wondering if anyone else has had the creaking noise when driving up driveway at an angle.
Noticed noise after spring/arm install. Not sure if I wanted to remove/install again just to troubleshoot.
I saw on another thread that another Z owner had the creak coming from the pass side above head and had the dealer "seam seal" the affected area, but I am sure the sound is coming from the lower rear part of the car.

Creaking Noise
I'm not sure about the type of bushings there are on your traction arms but I had a similar problem with sway bars that I installed on my Acura TL. After I put on the aftermarket parts, they started to creak and squeek whenever I hit a bump, etc...
I called the manufacturer of the parts and they told me to remove the bushings on my sway bars and then wrap teflon tape (the white kind the plumbers use) around the sway bars before putting the bushings back over the teflon tape. I did it and they never made another noise. I have since sold my Acura and bought an 04' Roadster.
I just wanted to pass on my 2 cents............

Thanks topdown-z, never did the swaybar install yet. Possible cause just might be the seam above the headliner
Gotta have someone take a ride in the rear hatch area.
just to be sure.
