Default Aodhan wheels

I just ordered a set Aodhan AH03 wheels in gloss black for my car. Got an email from them with a 5% off coupon code and just thought I'd share the love if anyone else wanted Aodhan wheels.

Coupon is extreme5 and the site is https://extremewheels.com/product-category/aodhan/

Can't wait to get my wheels! I'll post pics when I get them

You want a 295 30 in the front as well!? Thats a little too aggressive in the front I think. That would fit in the rear with maybe a little poke. Depends how much camber you want to run if any. I would do a 255 wide tire in front or 265 at most

These?

https://extremewheels.com/product/ao...11-15-5x114-3/

Those would look good in the rear but I would do these in the front

Cool! Thanks for sharing the coupon code.

I really want the Aodhan DS02 in black chrome. I have them in my cart on Extreme Wheels but hoping to sell my other wheels first. I don't have to, but I think it will make the wife happier if I do!

DANG, those are cheap. What size did you go with BrownDogg? You should throw one on a scale and see how much they weigh haha

You took off a set of forged RAYS wheels and put on a $500 set of silly putty cast Chinese-made wheels? Wow. Poor NISMO.

I took off a set of stock wheels that every other Nismo in the world came with and put on something unique... I'd say the Nismo is quite happy! I like cars to be unique and stand out and these do the trick perfectly

This. I'm all for being unique and making it your own, but that's almost as bad as the guy who plastidipped his volks.

I love the wheels!! Great choice!

I have been strongly considering buying these for my car and it is great to see them pictured on another silver Z.

BrownDogg, are you lowered at all or on stock suspension.

On a side note...I love this forum, but I am getting very tired of all of the negative comments from members on here. It seems half the comments on threads are negative and I just don't think that is what a good forum should be.

This is a thread titled Aodhan Wheels. If you don't like Aodhan Wheels, don't even bother opening the thread and reading if all you can do is say something negative. Not everyone feels the need to spend $3-4 thousand dollars on wheels. These look great and are a great option for about $1k.

I'm sorry for the rant but I felt I needed to say something.

My solution and defense from the haters.....

Own a set at the 4k, 2k, and 0.5k levels. Everyone should love me, right?

Right????

Laff......

FWIW, I looked at the Aodhans for my "replicas" post.... https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...-find-out.html

Mic, I know you have had all levels of wheels. I followed your replica wheel thread and found it very informative. We all know that the higher level wheels (Volk, SSR, Work, etc..) have higher build standards and weigh less, etc, but even most of the Chinese made wheels and replicas are safe for street driving. I did not say they are the right choice for hard track driving and they are.going to be heavy, but they have their place in the market. If someone chooses to buy them, it's their choice. All I am trying to say.

I have several sets of wheels and they all range from $600 to $4k. I keep my expensive wheels nice while I daily grind the cheapos. Swap over to the nice wheels every now and then since I get bored of my cars. Mics a pic *****.

I see what you did there, Mistuh Sparco. Figure it this way.... a pic's worth a thousand words. You choose...you wanna READ one of my long winded 3k word posts or just see 'em and move on? How much is your time worth? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Oh, and by the by, I did NOT pay anywhere close to the 2k or 4k prices for my wheels despite their being that much new. My Volks were freshly re-done by the seller and the S-Tune Z34 wheels were NOS (new old stock) and on clearance. My OEM Z34Ns were also purchased as takeoffs and were about 1/3 cost of OEM. My point: I'm cheap with an eye for high quality. "I eat caviar.... Bought it at the bait store."
