Default TPMS sensors not working

I bought some used 350z tpms to put in my nismo wheels, brought the car to a tire shop to reflash the sensors, but the light keeps reappearing after driving 1 or so miles. Tires are inflated to spec as well.
Tire guy says the sensors are all working, but they may not be on the same frequency as the original sensor was. are all 350z sensors the same?
can i just put the sensors that came with the car and reflash?

A little bit about the car- 2007 350z nismo, bought it with 350z early version touring wheels. TPMS light was not on, but wheels were in wrong place i.e. -right rear 245/45/18 -left front 245/45/18 -left rear 225/45/18-right front 225/45/18. I then put the wheels in correct place and light came on. Drove like that for awhile.
I then bought the OE nismo wheels for the car and a used set of 350z sensors[the ones that are not working with the car] the sensors did get a little wet, not sure if that would fry them or not.

the previous owner of the car installed a viper alarm, would that affect anything?

Have you tried to do the learning procedure?

I see two possible problem areas. First, the sensors for 2003 - 2006 cars are a different part number than for 2007 - 2009 models. Both types use the same frequency, but they may not be interchangeable. Second, tire pressures are received by the remote keyless entry receiver. If the previous owner messed with that when installing the aftermarket alarm, that could also cause problems.

When I swapped my '03 Touring V1 wheels for '08 Touring V2 wheels the learning procedure worked just fine. So its worth a shot.

However when the batteries died on those (slowly each tire disappeared from the gauge over a few weeks) I got new aftermarket sensors and those would not sync up using the procedure. Was told they must be programmed into the system.

The sensors I ordered are from the earlier Z models.
I have not tried the learning procedure yet. I will look up the procedure and give it a shot!
If I where to buy aftermarket sensors, would I be able to bypass the remote keyless entry receiver?

Thanks for the responses guys!
