I want to put on wheel spacers . Was wondering what it takes to get the small hub that the wheel studs are attached to off ? I need to put on longer studs .Will I be able to use a use a puller and replace myself...or will they need to be pressed back in place ? If it needs to be pressed back on...I may just sell the rims and get some that dont need spacers to bring the wheel back out . Has any one replaced studs ???????

Hey there.....
The hub is just removed by the bolts as its a whole bearing assembly. Then to remove the old studs just put em in a vice and whack them with a hammer.
They come out very easily. We open ours up and replace them with a larger size stud.

Just got front done last night. I don't need to do the back so I don't have any info on how to do it.
I read your post yesterday and got curious myself so I decide to do it after having the spacer sitting around for over a month.
I didn't remove the hub off the car. Below is step-by-step of how I did my front. Sorry there's no pictures. My hand was too dirty to grab the camera.
1. Remove wheel
2. Remove the caliper. There's (2) #14 bolts holding the caliper and (2) #22 (if I remember correctly) bolts holding the bracket.
3. Remove the rotor
4. Hammer the stud out
5. Put the new stud in. You can not hammer them back in. Instead, use 12x1.5 nut to tighten the stud to pull them in place.
6. Put everything back
That's how I did mine. Takes about 45 mins for both front wheels.

I havent looked at the front yet. I started at the back. It just doesnt seem to be enough room to get the stock ones out.....and get the longer ones back in . So I'll try taking off the hub that the studs are in .
