Default i need help on 18 x 7.5...

i really want 18 inch wheels but non of them catch my eyes.
my car is 04 ppw and i really want flat black rims but unfortunatly its hard to find the looks/price/specifications all in one shot.

and i finally got drawn to 5 zigern fn01rc flat black.

the package comes with 17x8(2 front) and 17x9(2 rear) with tires and free shipping for $1235

another option i was looking at this beautiful ADR vision that comes with package with tires and free shipping for $799. however its specs are 18x7.5(all 4 rims)

i really want the ADR visions cause of money and looks. but does the width really make a difference? is there a negative affect on the car when the width is only 7.5 in the rear?

Here's a shot of rear 18 x 7.5 with factory potenzas 245/45. I actually found turn in easier, up front, because the sidewall sits up straighter. No problems with fitment. The tire looks a little meaty on the rim, but no troubles. Done donuts and took it to the 1/4 mile with no troubles. I'm replacing the whole setup though, because I want wider tires. If you plan on modding your Z, get the wider rims so you can run wider tires. 245 is max for 7.5. Its probably not even recommended.

Have you considered the ADR Cyphers in Gunmetal? 18x8.5 and 18x9.5... Here are the ones I have:

I ran 7.5" track wheels on my Integra...

If you plan on having ANY rubber under your car... forget about these.

I wouldn't go past a 235 on a 7.5 inch wheel. That's as close as I'll be comfortable, even though I'm sure people have done more. But if I saw a student show up at the track (road course - can't believe I have to clarify) with 245s or more on a 7.5" wheel, I'm not sure I'd ride with them.

That package (with tires) probably comes with 215s or something. And for that price, I would imagine the tires would be awful anyway.

Why not pick up a set of used Track rims from someone and having them refinished if you really want the black look? I'm sure it could be done.
