Default BBS RGR or SF Winnings?? Help can't decide

Hey guys. Well I was definitely going with the SF Winnings due to price and wanted the BBS RS-GT look, but now I received a quote for the BBS RGR for $50 cheaper than the winnings with better tires. Which would you get and why? Thanks!

Now it depends on the weight as well. If the Winnings are lighter then that could justify the price difference, also what tires were they coming with? Better tires are not always more expensive it also depends on size. Right now one of our suppliers is offering 15 inch T1S for the same price as Kumho.

Now if the weights diff is not that far off then it would be come a matter of taste, what colour is your car?

the rims are:
19x8.5 fronts
19x9.5 rears

tires on the winnings would be toyo s1's
tires on the bbs would be s03's

as for the weights, i'm not sure but i know they are comparable. just for clarification, the bbs will be cheaper. my car color is silverstone / diamond graphite. thanks for any feedback.

The issue with the tires for me anyways is easy. T1S is better simply because of the huge diff in weight compared to the S03s. I have had one of each in the same size and the T1S was a lot lighter.

Now if weight is about the same then it becomes a matter of choice, which do YOU like more? it doesnt really matter what we think. Also pictures are one thing but once they are on the car they will both look nice (I have seen both wheels in person and pictures dont do them justice, esp Diamond Black BBS)

When I bought my wheels ppl were iffy about whether or not Gold wheels would look good on my Ivory Pearl G Coupe. But I didnt care cause its my car, my money and my choice. Now that ppl have seen my actual wheels after they came in on Wednesday ppls opinion differs.

One more thing, the reason why I said that I would could choose the tire easily based on weight is because I know for a fact that both tires are amazing for performance and you cant really go wrong with either with the exeption of weight.

thanks for the great points type r. i guess i'm leaning towards the bbs because i like the finish more, but i do like the riveted winnings (don't want to afford the rs-gt's and the adr m-sport are too heavy for my tastes.)

It is a known fact that the T1S' are incredibly light in comparison to other tires. However, when I went to replace my tires, Paul Moorcones of Radial Tire recommended that I stick with the S03s because of "their superior sidewall construction." For those of you who aren't into road racing, Paul is a big supporter of Porsche club racing, and he competes in the Grand Am Cup as well. To be honest, his comment on the S03s suprised me since he's such a proponent of Toyo tires...

I would agree with this Paul guy. I've probably made myself abundantly clear on this issue, but I really don't like the Toyo T1S. The S03 is a much better tire. The T1S makes it feel like you are driving a Buick - soft, delayed turn-in and poor steering feel.

Having said that, I personally prefer the BBS RGR. They are an awesome wheel and I almost got a set for my Z. The only reason I didn't was that they don't clear the StopTech brakes I have on my car. If you are considering a BBK down the line, you may want to think about that before deciding on the wheel. Although I was looking at 18" wheels, perhaps the 19s have different spoke clearance (it is a spoke clearance, not barrel clearance, issue on the 18s).

Dont know much about them, but I like how they look. They have a similar design to the RGR and SF-W
