I got the 29 lb info from the guy that was quoting me with the +15 and +20 offset, I'm not sure if that would make a difference on the weight due to a different offset? That would be interesting to fine out.

Does anyone think there's gonna be a big difference between a 40 offset and a 45 offset. As far as I know thats all they offer for 19x9.5's.... Think a 275 tire will make a differnce as far as looks go?
Essentially I believe this means 40mm (1.57inches) out from the centerline of the wheel is the mounting plate of the rim. Then 45mm would then be another 5mm or 0.19 inches further out. Then of course the wheels fit further back inside the wheelwell by this amount, but of course the wheels are 1.5 inches widers, so they remain about flush. This is the way I unserstand it. Then of course the lower offset means the wheels will stick out further, clearing the calipers on the bif brakes, which would otherwise prevent the wheels from mounting.

If I were to use spacers, I would definately take the better ones, don't cheap out here. Nothing like losing a wheel at 210kms.

No flaming intentions here, but I also ordered the Milanos (+15/+20; which have already arrived... they were ordered on Feb.20th) and I found Mike great to deal with. Phoned them once and left a message, had the call returned, got some helpful advice, etc.,. Maybe he was having a bad day when you called.

Well, if you got a set, I was lied to cause he told me I was going to have the first set. Oh well... who cares, as long as I get them soon!

I dont think the 15/20s are availible until this month. All of us who ordered shoulf be getting the first sets shipped to the US.

Oh and for the weights of the wheels, I saw on a website.. I forget which one... but the wheel weights were 24lbs for the 8.5 and 25lbs for the 9.5 in 19". Hope that helps. When I get mine, I can weigh em, but they will have goodyears mounted.

Default Axis Milanos with 15, 20 offsets

Hey guys, just wanted to let you all know that a place I've purchased wheels and tires from before has the best deals. They can sell them to you for cheaper than www.rdmwheels.com or Northeast Auto Design. They said they'd have them in the same amount of time however (~3 weeks). They've ordered a set for me with some Toyo T1S tires. Check out their website at www.fastmotorsport.com Ask for Gaston and tell him Quoc Pham referred you. Email me at qmpham@ou.edu if you have any questions.

Sup all,

First off, when i first bought my Z, i joined here right away, even though i don't post a lot, i wanted to thank you guys for being such great community.

The problem is guys, I got the axis milano's when they firstttttttttttt came out. Actually from fast motor sport. Those guys only had this set up. Back then they didn't have the staggered set up, 8.5's all around right now. It's ***, i mean i get some benefits, in the snow its better and what not, but i just hate the gap.

The question i'm asking you guys is to recommend what i should do. I figured a couple options.

1. buy 9.5's for the rear for 800 with tires, and try selling 2 8.5's for cheap, i mean cheap with tires, cause they have about 1000 miles not one scratch, seriously mint condition.

2. just keep them and get h&r wheel spacers.

3. just sell them all and get new wheels. Even though i love milano's

what should i do????????

thx guys again

If you're just putting on wheels for show. Then I'd get the spacers...it's cheaper. If you plan on tracking your car, I'd go with the 9.5" in the back so you have less stuff to worry about. What kind of tires are you running? What are your offsets?

RDM quoted me 2500 for Nittos but they had to be 275-30's, he said if I wanted 35's I had to get T1S's for 2600. He said he thinks Nitto's dont come 275-35-19, is that correct? He kept pushing me to go with 275-30's saying thats the package... I said "Why is your company selling a package with the wrong size tire?" Does 2600 sound write? I think the wheels are 1440.00, so that would be another 1160 for tires mounting, hardware and shipping? I am waiting on a price from Florida auto sports. Anyone know where else to get a good price???

Go with Eagle F1's. Same performance, cheaper tire, right size.

Nittos don't make 275-35. I'm getting the T1Ss with my Milanos. Florida Auto Sports (Fast MOtor Sports) could beat RDM's price by a lot...let's say by $150 at least.

Eagle F-1's are Awesome tires, but do not last AT ALL..I used to work at JustTires and people would come in all the time complaining that these tires wear out too fast. And for Axis Milano prices, I just ordered 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 that will arrive in 2 weeks for $1132 no tires. $1132 for them because I know the owners of a wheel store near me.
