ME TOO

I got all 4 of my SSR GT3 wheels fixed at Wheel America. They did a pretty good job. I would not say excellent but it was definitly worth my money. It would have costed me over $550 per wheels. I had lots of scrapes/dings and I think my right front was bent.

I Drove to wheel America in LI ... they cant fix the front since the rolled lip is Hollow and will bent when the try and fix it. My 19" iForged Evo is out in Cali now getting re-hooped. Call Vince at iForged.

Well, I didn't really want to mention this here, but 2 of my wheels are out there too. I wanted them fix the clearcoat issues and a minor bend (long story) in one of them. They have been there since Dec 31. Needless to say, I am not happy about the situation at all.

It is the nature of the beast though, I knew what I was getting into when I purchased them. If anything else does happen, I will probably look into other means of getting them fixed, as I am never sending them out there again. I think they are even charging me for everything they are doing(like $150 for rehooping), which is nuts in itself. I am still happy with how the rims look, though, they are fabulous. I don't really have anything positive to say about the company whatsoever, though. After a while, you get tired of being lied to.

McDonald Ave and Bay Parkway like 1 months ago. It was like 2am and there was a huge cut in the street. I didnt see it till it was too late. I even bubbled the tire. So now im rolling around on 3 19"'s and one stock wheel, it blows!

Some potholes in NY are crazy! My friends minivan got stuck in a pothole, he had to call AAA to get him out.

You would think after a couple years they could figure out how to provide decent customer service.... NOPE. I, like everyone else, just want my wheels back, so I do not have to deal with them again.

I was going to pay to have mine (all 4) re-clearcoated locally, and pay for it myself, just so I would not have to deal with iForged. What a PITA.

On another note, did everyone have to pay for all costs (shipping, dismounting, etc.), as I did? In my case that will be over $300 out of my own pocket for their mistake.

All of this crap from iForged is exactly why I fixed my air leak my self and have not sent them back to get re-clearcoated. Hell, it took nearly 5 months to get them in the first place, then they sent the wrong wheels, and I had to wait 2 more weeks to get the correct ones, so there's no way I'm sending them back. Anyway, they look fine without the clear. I'm still looking into a local shop to re-clear or possibly just polish the centers, but have just not had time to follow through with anything. If I damage one on a pot hole or curb, then I'd rather just make end tables out of the other 3 and buy some different wheels than deal with iForged again.

I took the rim to Wheels America yesterday and like xlacrosse said, they cant fix it because of the hollow lip. So I just ordered a new wheel from iforged today. I know I can send it back to replace the outer hoop, but I don't want to be without a rim for 4 or more weeks. After I get the new one on I'll send this one back to be repaired. Plus its good to have an extra rim. Until then I'll be riding on the bent one. It isnt leaking air or vibrating during driving. You guys think it's okay to keep driving on it?
