Default 18" iforged and kumho rolling diameters

I'm looking at the Kumho Ecsta Mx as my choice of "bang for the buck" rubber and I want to verify before ordering that I'm going for the right size. I have 18x9 and 18x10 Iforged on the way, courtesy of Paul at Avalon Racing, and I plan on running 245/40/18 and 275/40/18 respectivly.

I have no experience with these tires, but ppl seem to like them and Tirerack has the front 245's on special for $135/piece. Anyone familiar with the Kumhos that can tell me if I have the right series of tires chosen to keep my overall rolling diamter close enough.

Thanks in advance.

Looks ok to me you have a .9 inch front to rear stagger, tcs/vdc shouldn't complain. I really like my Kumho MX's the only thing I can tell you is should check with your local Discount Tire CO. store on prices and then check to see how much mounting/balancing will cost if you walk in with the tires in hand. I bet they will make it cheaper to just order from them. I have heard some very pricey quotes for 18" mount/balance if the vendor doesn't supply the tires.

Should work great, there will be no problems with the VDC with those sizes. Can't wait to see the setup....

what's the deal with cooper tires? I found 245/45/18s for $125, is there any reason why people don't buy them?
