Default How low do I need to go to get better performance?

I am now considering springs for my car. At first I was considering Tein S Techs but then I was told by someone that they dont make that much of a differece in performance.

I dont want to go too low but if I go to the trouble of putting on springs, I want to get better performance. I.E. less body roll better stick in the corners. etc.

Right now its between the Teins and the Eibachs. what do you all think? Is there a better spring out there that offers great performance and little hassle with camber issues and scraping?

BTW I definitely dont want to go lower than one inch!

Thanks.

I have 350EVO sway bars on the stock suspension and they made a big difference in body roll. I will also be adding RSR springs this weekend hopefully and will report back on the combo. The RSR springs are linear with a 0.6" drop front and back.

You should strongly consider a set of stiffer sway bars if you want to help control the body roll during cornering. The Nismo and Cusco bars are good. I used the Stillen adjustables and have been quite pleased.

For the springs you have a lot of choices, but for ultimate flexibility between performance and comfort the the Tein flex coilover system with the edfc gives you electronic control at the touch of a button for multiple settings. I have used this for street, highway and track, and found it to be most satisfactory. It is not cheap, but it really works. Daily driver comfort, hard driving track performance, all in one.

Yep, if handling is the goal, go sway bars instead of dropping it. I did both but it is low enough already for handling, lowering it is mainly for looks. Sways and suspension will get the handling you want before springs IMO.

thanks all.

Actually I am lowering for looks as well, so I guess that I will be doing the Tein s tech drop and then maybe some Hotchkiss sways.

Hotchkis has springs as well and if you buy both the sways and springs you get a pretty good deal on the package.
