Thumbs up The New 'NEO GEN' From NITTO Tires!!!

The New NITTO 'Neo Gen'!

http://www.nittotire.com/tires_neogen.asp

Experience the Art of Tire with Neo Gen, the latest offering of extreme high performance radials from Nitto Tire. Neo Gen's unique asymmetrical tread pattern is an art in motion designed to perform. The innovative three-dimensional, multi-wave sipes are optimized to reduce irregular wear, as compared to conventional sipes. And the slanted, three-dimensional tread blocks provide the necessary rigidity for improved cornering and enhanced traction in varying weather conditions. This perfectly balanced combination of technology and art suits the most demanding automotive enthusiast. With Neo Gen, you'll experience first hand the Art of Tire.

The Nissan 350Z is already a capable sports car right out of the factory. The Greddy 350Z takes that performance from capable to brilliant. A Greddy turbo charger system adds reliable torque and horsepower while the NeoGen tires, suspension upgrades, and brake upgrades allow the car to handle the twisties as well as the straights.
According to the website, the tire is offered in the following specs:

*205/50 R16 91V 10 24.07 8.07 5.5-(6.5)-7.5 1356 @ 50
*205/45 R16 87V 10 23.26 8.07 6.5-(7.0)-7.5 1201 @ 50
*205/40 R16 83V 10 22.46 8.07 7.0-(7.5)-8.0 1074 @ 50
*205/40 ZR17 84W 10 23.46 8.07 7.0-(7.5)-8.0 1102 @50
*215/45 ZR17 87W 10 24.62 8.46 (7.0)-8.0 1201 @ 44
*215/40 ZR17 87W 10 23.77 8.46 7.0-(7.5)-8.5 1201 @ 50
*225/45 ZR17 94W 10 24.97 8.86 7.0-(7.5)-8.5 1477 @ 50
*205/40 ZR18 86W 10 24.46 8.07 7.0-(7.5)-8.0 1168 @ 50
*215/40 ZR18 89W 10 24.77 8.46 7.0-(7.5)-8.5 1279 @ 50
*215/35 ZR18 84W 10 23.93 8.46 7.0-(7.5)-8.0 1102 @ 50
*225/40 ZR18 92W 10 25.09 8.86 7.5-(8.0)-9.0 1389 @ 50
*215/35 ZR19 85W 10 24.93 8.46 7.0-(7.5)-8.0 1135 @ 50

As you can see, there is NO listing for my sizes: 245/35/19 & 275/35/19 respectively. I've sent them an email regarding upcoming larger fitments. The NT555 has always been a great 'bang4thebuck', but this tire looks even more promising!

Its a great tire thats been out for some time already. You wont see this in any very large fitments. Its a tire to replace the old 450, and compete directly against the Yokohama Parada. This tire will be mostly compact import sizing only.

Have to agree with you there.
I too though, "Hmmmm, I know the Greddy Car has to be running 19's?" Deceptive marketing is a B1tch.

Still, they look nicely creative and functional, with exceptional treadwear for a Z rated tire.

no you cant, and with staggered setups that means NO rotation at all. But I think the neo-gen has a different compound on the inside and outside to accomodate cars with negative camber... i.e. cars with lowering springs but no camber adjustments. I think I saw one of their ads talking about that. If thats the case and these tires provide good grip then they might be quite innovative indeed and needless to say, awesome.
