Websites with Japanese characters
How do I translate japanese characters into English so that I can read sites like Nismo, cwest, etc?
I know someone mentioned a website or something in the past, but I forgot it.
BTW, I have a Mac, if that makes a diff.
thanks

There's heaps of translation engines around. Just run a google search.
Here's one to get you started: http://babelfish.altavista.com
BTW they don't do a fantastic job. You often need to do some interpretation to understand them.

Given that the structure of Japanese grammar is so different to that of English, there aren't really many options that work well. Babelfish can get you the general gist, but it's just as likely to be gibberish.
One option is to use http://www.rikai.com . It does not translate the sentences, but rather pops up the meaning of each individual word when you go over it with the mouse. It is actually meant as a study tool or translation tool for those who do already read Japanese, but it could be useful if you just need to figure out a caption or a short technical description.
