Default 19" Bronze CE28N's are on

I finally got the CE28N's on.

19x9.5 +22 with 245/35/19 front
19x10.5 +22 with 275/35/19 rear

I got these from rehighonline.com...good vendor; good price, prompt delivery, and the wheels were well balanced. I would recommend them.

Impressions and figures:

1. Handling is not as nimble as with my 17" oem's, but I haven't tested lateral grip capabilities yet.

2. Acceleration feels slightly slower due to higher rotational inertia. CE28N's w/ rubber weighed 49 lbs up front and 53 lbs in the rear. Half worn OEM's weighed 51 lbs up front and 52 lbs at the rear.

3. Surprinsingly, the 19" toyos are a little noisier than the slightly feathered oem's. Believe me, I was surprised! I attribute this to the much lower/stiffer side walls and wider tires.

4. In the looks department, I am completely pleased!

Am I happy that I bought these. YES!

Here are a couple of photos:

With the bank broke, lowering and big brake kits will have to wait (a long time)

Wow.. Looks awesome!

I wonder what the LE28's would look like... polished lip on that rim in 19, on the Z, it'd be amazing.

Yes, stock height. Fenders aren't rolled, and from what it appears, they won't need to be rolled unless I lower the car. No problems with rubbing, but then again, I haven't run over any bad potholes (will be keenly avoiding those).

Yes, I know I need to lower the car, but I haven't made any decisions on what to go with (lowering springs or coilovers). Also, cash flow is a temporary set back since I don't like carrying credit card balances. Yes, I know it's America...land of guiltless debt.

BTW, Rizzness, what are you asking here... "Coming or no?"

Did you have your TPS (tire pressure system) transferred to the CEs? Just wondering if I have to strap them in.

Thanks.

I just ordered my 19 inch Ti Silver CE28N's from F1 Motorsports today! Can't wait to get them in. 19.8.5 and 19x9.5 + 22 all around.

I will have a friend take some pics when we get a chance.

Extreamly light, lighter then the TE37's!

19 pounds for the ones I ordered is what I'v been told. its a good 4-6 pounds per wheel lighter then the 17's
