Im looking on info on rims. I own a G35, i believe the wheel specs for it stock is 18x8/18.8.5
I'm intrested in the Gram Lights 57Pro and i want 18x9 in the front and back. Would it be safe to slap them on or should i do 18x8.5 in the front and 18.9 in the back.? What should i do?

First... make sure to size and stagger your tires properly... the proper tire size/stagger for those rims would be 245/40/18 and 275/40/18.
Second... difference between 18x8.5 and 18x9 in the fronts with a 245/40/18 tire is going to be:
(1) a slight difference in the overall height (rule of thumb is 0.2 inch decrease for every 0.5 inches of rim width increase)
(2) a slight difference in the appearence of the tire's sidewall as a result of 1 (slanted inward slightly more)
Anyway, you'll be fine with either rim IMO... 8.5-9 is both within spec for a 245 tire.

so performance will not be an issue? My friend told me something about s2ks... if they have a even outs front and rear rims the performance in turning will weaken.
The back is easier to slide out because the front has more grip.

Actually, a LOT of people have NOT been staggering their tires and running 245s all the way around. Apparently this give the car the best handling. You can go with a smaller profile to 'trick' the VDC and TCS into thinking the tires are staggered too.
