Default correct wheel offset for 18x8.5/18x9.5 rims

Hello all,

I was thinking about buying a set of Diamond Black BBS RGR's for my black Z roadster. I was looking to get 18x8.5 fronts and 18x9.5 rears. What is the correct offset for those rims, in order to keep the 245 front and 275 rear tires tucked inside the fenders and not rub against anything inside the wheel wells and/or fenders? Thank you in advance for your response....

I have a set of 18x 8.5 and 18x9.5 RGR Diamond Black on order for my G35 Coupe. I'm putting Pilot Sport 245/40 front and 275/40 rear. BBS said the offset is +23mm front and +25 mm rear for the G35 and 350Z.

Thanks, SkidMark. I've seen different offset figures on rims that fit and are sold for the 350Z, and I wanted to make sure I was not getting a set of rims that would "stick out" of the fenders and/or rub the inside of the wheelwell. Apparently, the Nismo wheels have +26mm front and +17mm rear offset, and I was using them for comparison since I expected Nismo to provide the optimal set up for Nissan cars.

Just got my new BBS RGR's and tires put on today... looks sweet and handles tight. I'm going to take some pics this weekend and post them.

I thought Nismo offsets were 25/30 for the 350z?

Nismo offsets are +25mm front and +30mm rear. Stock 18s are +30mm rear. So Nismos are more aggressive. I think that the Nismo offsets are just about perfect.

mine are +18 front and rear. No fender rubbing, and no fender roll.

These are perfect!
