Unofficial Rim Size/Offset Thread
#41
9.5 +12 has been done before and looks great. That's a very radical offset compared to your front. You are gaining 1-5/16" out toward the fender in the rear, but only 1/4" up front. I think it will look fine, its just that your back wheels are going to be flush with the wheel well and your fronts will look a little recessed.
7mm is just over 1/4". So, no it won't look that noticeable. If you haven't ordered them yet, the +22 might be the way to go up front.

zillinois,
Thanks for making the correction. To bad were not allowed to edit our original posts...???
I just want to say my hat is off to "zillinois " for doing an outstanding job of compiling data on wheels and their offsets that is both informative and helpful when trying to decide on a pair of rims. The pictures say a thousand words compared to the data. Sometimes one can only imagine what his or her rims might look like on their Z, but with the aid of this thread the guess work is removed.
Thanks zillinois, we all appreciate it .
Ps if you have questions about a certain size wheel and offset that is not provided by zillinois chart this webpage may help you. You just plug in the necessary data and it gives you new reference points in comparison to your old wheels.

zquicksilver,
thanks bro....i know they are two different brands so they are probably going to be different in offsets...but ya, as long as the end result is the same sounds good....really appreciate the info
so have you decided yet? best to take your time and get exactly what you want....i know you have been at it a while now...good luck with your decision....and again, thanks

road warrior,
i'm still undecided as to which rims to go with...but i'm going to choose soon. i want to install them sometime in july, so i will most likely order them this monday, just thinking a little bit as to which will make me the happiest...
9.5s at +30,+35,+38 are all ok looking. not to tucked or sticking out past the fenders.
here are some pics to verify things...
