Question 9.5 inch275 or 10.5 inch285?

I know the most popular way to go with volk gtc's would be to get the 9.5 inch wheel for the rear and put a 275/35/19 tire on it. However I was considering going with a 10.5 wheel and puting a 285/35/19 on the back. What kind of perfomance differences between the two? More rubber better handling or not? Maybe It will just slow the car down and add Bling! Who has an opion?

Why not put 285's on a 9.5? That's what I'm running (altho, they're not on my car yet, still need lugs) Looks HOT!

I really like the look of the 10.5 Gtc's. Deep dish and all that! I'm just concerned how it will effect the handling and overall performance.

275's on a 10.5" wheel will look stretched. If I had to do it all over again, (I have 275's on 10.5) I would would go with 285's minimum or 295's even if it required rolling the fenders.

Is rolling the fenders necessary with a 10.5 rear running 285's? I am considering buying this set up an don't want to roll my fenders. Anyone successfully running this without rolling?

Rolling the fender depends on offset of the 10.5" rim. See the Unofficial Rim Offset thread for help.
