I checked out Hop Up racings front page today and saw These wheels.

i was wondering if PIAA had quality and here it is.

Its a 2 piece forged wheel. I just got my TE 37s. I am so bummed. Hop Up has these for $2400 The rears are a six inch lip.

I dont know about PIAAs other wheels. I know they are relatively inexpensive, so yes they are probably cast.

i do know that These wheels are two piece and forged. Since I think it is the only forged wheel PIAA offers, the manufacturer of the Rozzo is probably outsourced.

Personally I have always thought of PIAA as a quality name, so if their wheel collection is mainly cast , that is not a good marketing scheme. It could ruin the rep of their lighting branch.

However this wheel is beautiful. A true two piece forged wheel with a polished lip and fasteners all along the seam. i wouldnt be interested in these if it was a one piece. I detest one piece wheels that masquerade as a 2 piece by using non functional fasteners. Its like putting a fake intake on your civic.

If anyone in So Cal wants to buy some Nice 19' TE37s let me know because Now I want these frickin PIAAs'

Looks like a 19" of the Work Meister S2R. They are about $2400, which makes me think they are forged and not cast for that price?

Keep the TE37's.....they look MUCH better IMHO, and there's no questioning Volks quality or lighter weight..

Hey Joust 75,

I saw the PIAA Super Rozza on a Redline the other night and they looked awesome. So I come here to get an opinion and your 9 month old thread is the latest one posted.

Did you ever get these rims? Did anyone? Does anyone have any opinion about this rim's quality?

I think those are are available in cast and forged.

If you just like the styling, there's a Sterns that's way cheaper. If you want to spend the money on forged, just buy the original Work wheels instead of these clones.

Thanks Road Warrior

xxlbeerZ, PIAA does make a forged wheel but the one I like, the Super Rossa, is cast. They are not for my car anyway, I'm getting the wife a C6 Vette and I'm shopping for wheels. I'll take a look at Work wheels. Thanks for the feedback. Here is a few pics of the Super Rossa

I have these in 19x7.5 and 19x9 in custom offsets for our s2k... they're a great quality 2 piece wheel... not heavy at all compared to other 19s considering a cast construction

appearance and overall build quality is fantastic - lives up to PIAA's reputation in the lighting department

anyway YMMV as they may be heavier for Z/G sizes/offsets... but i'm very please with them
