Default New Tire Selection After Crappy Stock Tires??

I finally wore though my stock tires with feathering and 22K miles on them. I now need new ones and don't know which would be the best to get to somewhat fix the feathering problem or delay it until Nissan finally gets the fix for us. Can anyone tell me what tire and what size would be best? I was thinking the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S with the 400 wear rating but they don't come in the 225/45-18's for the front.

Yeah its bad that the A/Ss don't come in the right sizes for 18s. I really like them on my 17s. You might check with Discount Tire.com or Tire Rack.com and see what they have that comes close to an equivalent and then check here with members who already have those tires for their input. Good luck.

You can put 245/40/18s in the front with the stock 245/45s or 255/45s in the back. This combo will help reduce the understeer built into our cars. The 245/40 is almost the same height as the 225/45s, and as I said, the car will handle better, and you will maintain the stock stagger. Good Luck.
