You are correct, totally my fault, Hotchkis sway bars, and Kaaz LSD also, wheels and tires. And yes, Hotchkis and Eibach have very little in common, I did not re-read the article and it had been a couple months....

Thanks for the correction, BTW I hear many good things about the Hotchkis, sounds like a good sway to go with.

Hotchkis is a great company for swaybars. You cannot go wrong with them for sways.

I've been quite impressed with SCC's technical articles. They seem to be much more thorough than pretty much any other mag I've read. They've had some very good write ups on the Z, and that one awesome one about weight reduction that makes the rounds every once in a while (I think it was a Sentra that they totally chopped up and got it to run very quick times - basically as a rolling frame).

I agree totally with their assesment of the Z's handling, and I'm just bummed that AutoX rules don't allow changing of the rear swaybar. I'm thinking of getting a front only and setting it on full stiff in the hopes that keeping the front end flatter will allow the tire to stay in better contact with the road (I get strong outer tire wear on my race tires).

BTW, a stock Z with Kumho Ecsta V700 (265/35-18) will pull about 1.23 lateral G's (with me driving), so if you are modding your Z and testing with race tires, you should not be satisfied until you better those numbers.

Maybe I'll go order Koni's and that front swaybar now.

I think tires make a big difference. The stock RE040's are awful, a race tire like the V700's should give quite a bit more grip, I would think with sways and shocks, 1.3 G's would be possible.
