Default an oldie but a goodie

hey everybody,
need a little help here. I am completely dumb when it comes to cars and measurements and stuff like that. thats why i got into health care, dont deal with that. i have done research on this site and unfortunately find myself a little more confused now then before. Spring is here and i am now ready to get my Z some new rims and shoes. I have the touring auto and this is what I have looked into. Or rather what i have been told to get by two seperate places: (gonna go 18's)

Rims: 18x8 (front and rear)
Tires Front: 225/40-18
Tires Rear:245/40-18

dont need major explanations here. just want to know if this will work, look right or hopefully look better, and also make sure it does not screw up any TCS (dont have the VDC). My only reason for this is pure aesthetic. Dont race this car. may drag it once in a blue moon, its a daily driver. any help will be greatly appreciated, and again sorry for the resurgeance of an old topic. thanks again.

You may want to check out the Nismo LMGT4 rims. They are 18 x 9.5 for the rear & 18 x 8.5 for the front. Tire size is 275/40/18 & 245/40/18 respectively. You can check them out here. Oh yeah, they will not mess with your TCS or VDC.
