Default Dealer goodies

I had a lousy experience with my dealership but they have attempted to make it up to me since I took delivery. They gave me a bag of goodies and I am curious what other dealers have given out. My bag of stuff included an embroidered T-shirt, hat, keychain (different than the one at Courtesy), Lust then Love and a travel mug with the Z on it.

How about you guys?

I got wheel locks. But then again; my dealer was fantastic with excellent communication that I never had to prompt them for.

Nissan hat and keychain. Also, I was going to buy one oil filter because I like to always have one on hand and the sales manager paid for it.

I am a dealer and we actually ordered the hardcover Z books for all of our customers plus the licence plate frames. Everyone seemed to enjoy the books and of course, we are still waiting for the frames.
Hope everyone is enjoying their Z cars and thumbs down to those dealers who are charging over sticker. It's B.S.!!!!

Nice to hear from a dealer that cares about his customers. Hopefully you will be rewarded with lots of return business. Thanks and keep up the good work!

With as much a pain in the *** as I've been trying to SQUEEZE info from my dealer, I suspect that they can't wait to be rid of me. They'll probably just give ma a size 10 foot up my A%% and say good luck. I'm sure they wished they never sold me the car. They will never see my face again, I'll go to another, 10 mi away, dealer for my Warranty work.

Default You Will Receive A Survey:

The dealers "CSI" score affects his position on such things as allocation. Answer the questions honestly, do not pull punches, but don't lie.
Smart dealers understand CSI, some do not and blame some unknown entity for their future negative relationship with NNA and possible demise.

Factory surveys and others from such as JD Powers affect outcome. This will be your chance to change the world! (at least the Z world).

I already got a call last night from someone asking me about my dealer experience, it was some sort of third party asking such questions like would I recommend the dealer to others, they asked if I would be interested in an NNA "executive"contacting me about my experience, I said Hell yeah.

Default Freebies...

Dealer gave me a chrome license plate frame with the Z logo. I also got them to give me free oil changes at the dealership for as long as I live in the area, but since I plan on using Mobil 1, and they don't normally use that or keep it in stock, I have to supply the oil. Still, its a good deal - lube, filter, and labor for free (for at least 2 years), so I am happy. They have also been great about replacing my bumper, and are painting it right now, so the new one should be on and as good as new within a few days. Hope everyone can get at least something from the dealer - I think the dealerships that had ordered "Lust, Then Love" for their pre-order customers really showed that they understood and cared about them, but then again, I SERIOUSLY doubt my dealer even knows the book exists, so I didn't expect much more than what I got. Good luck with the freebies!

You really can't expect more than a good deal and a very good delivery. Anything else you get from the dealer is up to them.

I had the absolute worst experience with my dealer. They wouldn't return calls, they wouldn't give me an order number or VIN number, nothing. In fact I called them on Friday,August 23rd and Monday August 26th (these were the most recent calls, there were many other non returned calls throughout August) because i got a last minute deal on a cruise leaving the afternoon of August 26th. if the car was coming i wasn't going to go. Finally i am told, no VIN number available, no order number, the car must not be coming soon and certainly not this week. When the ship gets back into port on Friday morning August 30th I check my voice mail. There is a message from my dealer dated Wednesday afternoon saying my car is there and to come get it. I was soo pissed. I was happy to get the car earlier then expected, but for 2 days these a-holes had my car. When i went to get the car a told my complaint to my salesman, some idiot manager comes up to me with a major attitude and says " do you want to take delivery of the car or not?". I know he was dying to sell it to someone else for over MSRP. Anyway, i will be completly forthcoming when i get that survery.

Dealer gave all Z buyers first oil change free as well as a $100 gift certificate to a local mall. Not worth there poor service and the fact that they charge $400 extra profit fee.

My Z showed up with spash guards, which I didn't order. The dealer didn't charge me for them. They also gave me a set of wheel locks.

I was very impressed by my salesman upon delivery. When I showed up, it was being handwashed, with a big sign on the passenger seat that said "do not install front licence plate bracket". He was also standing guard to make sure no one so much as breathed on the car.

High marks to Arlington Nissan in Buffalo Grove. I'm thinking about buying a S/C Xterra to replace my second car next year and I will surely buy from them.

Nice touch. Let's just hope it wasn't a gift from their body shop manager...

You mean, like the TV show? Crime Scene Investigation? Maybe we'll get to see an autopsy or something!
