I'm looking for a high quality alternative to Ray's lugs. I know that RodH and a few others have been looking for the same for some time also. Ray's only come in black, red, and blue, hence this need.

Hayame seems high quality and a great look, only offered in open ended. A set seems to be able to be had for about $80-100. 5Zigen seems to be about $100-120. Not many people seem to sell either, even less seem to sell the 5Zigen.

 

Currently, I am looking for wheel locks too, and it seems that 5 zigen is lug only; Ray is the real wheel lock.

I have bought and taken back a few pairs because they just didn't look right to me. The 5 Zigen are GREAT quality, I just didn't like the open end and how long they are.

Ironically I just bought RAYS in red. I have(had) full intentions of just polishing the tops (dremell tool) so they have a polished face (instead of red, blue or black) but before I do it I wanted to see how the red would look. I am actually sort of liking them with my red calipers. Don't know if I will keep it, I will have to get some pics and see what people think, but it is sort of growing on me.

 

Yeah Jeff, I have talked to Jason via PM, but he didn't really say anything about what he thought about them. I don't really want open ended either rodH, so the search continues. It's amazing how hard it is to find what I am looking for. I think I might end up going with Hayame silver lugs. I don't think they are as long as the 5Zigen's at least.
