Default would you say its worth trading 18s?

my touring 18s are in bad shape and i was thinking of either powdercoating them white or buying new rims. the only problem is if i buy new rims i want em to be volks (probably gt7) and i can only afford 18s. so i was just wondering if everyone felt it would be worth over 2 grand to go from 18s to 18s. when i say worth it, i mean basically in terms of looks. oh and my cars db, and ive gone through the gallery, but it looks like the volk rims there are all 19s. and also, i cant lower the car b/c of a really steep driveway so i have to keep the car at stock height.

I'd say wait a lil' bit and save, then get 19's... You won't regret it.

or

Keep an eye on the Private Classifieds forum, I got my 19" Volk SF Challenges w/ tires for a great price....

Volk 19s are lighter than touring 18s. So there is not a performance advantage staying with 18s. Wait alittle longer and get 19s. The only thing that should stop you from going 19s is performance.
