Default Damn volk te-37 wheel caps!!

Yeah I had the luck today of picking up my finished car and after a few miles of driving I stop to go with my roomate to test drive a evo 8 and yeah the two front were gone. Just popped right off. Can't say I'm too happy about these "special edition coming from Japan" caps that took forever to get. Anyone else run into this problem. And yes i did make sure they were on before i started drivng. Even gave them a nice little kick to make sure.

Happened to me when I first got my TE's. I was bedding my brakes and one of the caps popped off. I actually saw it in the side view mirror. Went into a ditch running along the side of the road. I spent almost an hour looking for it but couldn't find it in the overgrowth.
After that I pounded them on with a rubber mallet and haven't lost any since (more than a year).

For centercaps that have a less than snug fit, I always 'glue' them to the wheels using RTV silicone. Nice and secure adhesive, yet is not 'permanent' in case you ever need to remove the centercap in the future, such as when you need the tires changed on older style tire changing machines or to fit on wheel spin balancers!
My two cents!
