Question I was expecting a flashing warning light etc after removing TPS..?

Put some new rims on recently but without my TPS sensors. Drove my z for 4 hours straight today. After about 40 minutes my tire pressure warning light turned ( the one beneath my guage cluster) but there are no flashing lights/warnings coming from the TPS monitor/digital speedo display guage. I thought i had heard from a few people here that this guage would switch to the TPS monitor no matter what you selected and constantly flash a warning about low tire pressure...I was fully expecting to have to go into my dash and disconnect the TPS management unit but I don't seem to have this problem? I can deal with the tire pressure light being on so long as nothing's flashing at me. Do some ECU versions not have this problem?

My TPS sensors have been off for about 5 months now and my experience has been the same as yours. That light goes on after about 40 minutes or so but there is no flashing or anything else.

how come I never get that warming light? I been running without tps for almost 4 months, and never go off, I heard you can take it back to the dealer and they can reset the program for you, not sure, you might want to check on that. The tps had go off on me one time when I had my stock 18's on and that beep sound scare the crap out the me, I didnt know was the warming from the tps, I thought I got a bomb in my car, ahahha

Get a second set of TPSs to install in your aftermarket rims. Nissan dealer can reintialize the TPS ocmputer on your car to 'recognize' the new set of TPS signals. so everything works as how Nissan intended it to. When you change back to stock rims/TPSs, dealer can reinitialize computer back to original TPS signals.
