Hanky, it looks like the shop on Harry Hines is under new ownership and is in the process of a makeover. My source doesn't know if they'll still be rolling fenders when they open back up. But no fear, I have another lead. He talked to his source and he told him that people have been going to the Ferarri dealership on 75 to get this done. Even if this doesn't pan out,I hope you find someone to do this soon. Cause I might need the same services.

How will dropping the car more solve the rubbing issues?
The wheel still ends up in the same place at full compression and lowering does not change the plane that the wheel travels upon.

Independent suspension travels on an arc. When you lower the car the wheel goes higher on the arc pulling in the camber causing negative camber. By the looks of his car i don't think he can drop that thing low enough to get the negative camber he needs to get the tires to clear the fender lip.

You're right about the Ferrari dealership, it is closed. So it looks like we're back to no leads. Sorry

starve, I raised my car back up to 2 and half fingers now, its alot better then before, but if I go over a deep dip at a high speed it still rub, so I probably still need to roll or shave my fenders. I am going over to this bodyshop over that Miller and Jupiter on Monday to shave my fenders. But this bodyshop owner doesnt recommend me to shave or roll. B/c he said that if I roll, there will be a high possibility of cracking my paint and I will need to repaint my side panel. If I shave, it will makes the fender wells sharper and will cut throught my tires. But I spoke with Brian from 350zonlinestore where I bought my wheels from, he told me that if I shave it will work. To tell you the truth, I dont really know what to do now. I am going over on Monday and talk to bodyshop owner again, I will keep you update.

if the body shop owner doesnt recomend it he wont do it right, and if anyone themeselves tells you oh sure i can do it, hes talking out of his butt. Dont get suckerd find someone in your area that has a Z that also rolled his or her fenders and find out where they hwent, in fact search rolled fenders on Google and see who spcializes in it. I know there are many body shops that just churn out import show cars. those cars always have rolled fenders. infact i have seen fenders get extended without repainting they stretch them like the G35 guy said.ask him where he got his if its close to you or ask him to ask his guy about a place close to you that can do it? Hope you get it done your dillema seems annoying. peace

Thanks adanande.

Hey nd2spd, did you roll your fenders? any rubbing issues with your setup? like when you go through a hump or dip or a hard turn at a high speed?

Hey starve, I got my rubbing issue FIXED!! I went to Intercrew and Phili trimmed half of my fender wells off with only 3/8 inch left. Even tho he charged me $160 to do it, at least he is the only shop i found that can quaranty their work in case anything goes wrong, rest of the shops either dont want to do it or cant promise.

Thanks moog. I know even tho Phili solved my problem and he seems like a nice guy too, I still think he charge too high, like I ask him if he can center my exhaust for me and his going to charge me $30 and I ask him if he can adjust the height on the car and he told me $150. If I could find another place, I probably wont go to them. But thanks again for your help moog.

Not yet, they need to hurry up. I need to see how my rear situation turns out. It's good to know I have an option to turn to, thanks to you.
