For those who rolled your fenders
Hi, first of all, is anyone in DFW area that done this? and second for you guys that rolled, did you guys have any problems after this? like paint chip off or crack or any other problems? third, did you guys roll the fenders? or shave the edge of the fenders? is it going to look ugly after this? like mess up the body lines and stuff?

I'm not in the Dallas area but I did have my fenders rolled. No paint cracking but no shop will guarantee that it won't happen when they do it. It my case the local shop has done 350Z's before specifically for 19x10.5 +22 offsets in the rear, so they knew exactly how far they should go. I've also seen the same size and offset with a shaved fender. It's definitely safer as you won't risk the paint chipping but you can definitely tell when you look under the fender whereas most people won't even notice the rolling. Not that this really matters since who the heck is going to look. Anyway, I'd say shave it unless you know a good body shop who has lots of experience in rolling fenders. Cracking the paint will be a big pain in the a$$ if it happens. Good luck!

Since you have coilovers, you should drop the back alot more and try to get as much negative camber as possible. This should help your tire clear the fenders. The only bad thing is that it will eat the inside of your tires. BTW, I'm waiting on the same rims for my Z.

I hate to say this, but they're gunmetal. The shop I ordered them from said that Mackin is getting them next week. So I should see them pretty soon. My car is dropped on H and R springs right now, so I'm hoping the negative camber will help the tires clear the fender.

I have one lead, I hear there's a shop on Harry Hines that specializes in BMWs that do alot of fender rolling for those guys. That's about all the info I have, but I'll try to get a hold of the guy that was talking about it.
