Default Hankook Ventus K104 Tires any good?

this is pretty much what i am looking for in a tire

good wet traction
quiet ride
tread life


how is this tire?miles expectancy?

thanks

ARE toyo t1s worth the 300 extra bucks?

I'm running the K104 in the back.

I think they are pretty good, except I don't know about wet traction. I personally think they are a bit slippery when it's wet out, but they are a harder compound than stock so I guess it wouldn't be too surprising if that was the case. I've got 15K miles on mine with very little wear (a couple track days on them).

I they definitely seem to be good for the price.

ive got them both in front and back....so far they've been great...as far as rain is concerned i'll have to agree with d'oh. I'm usually paranoid in the rain anyways...i think with any tire if you push hard enough it'll slide. treating me very well except the nail in my front tire

The T1S design is several years old, and is a bit antiquated compared to other tires out there. You might want to look at the Michelin PS2 or wait for the T1S replacement to come out... I endorse the S03, as I think they have the most bang for the buck and are incredible in the wet... Tires are the one thing you shouldn't be cheap with...

how many miles do you guys think you will get out of them?ar eu running 18s or 19s?
