Well, my GT-7's are coming in next weekend, but it looks like my rears are going to be 10.5" instead of 9.5" due to a mix up. Is there any problem with running these wheels in the rear? My fronts are 8.5" wide.

You'll have to roll your fenders to avoid any rubbing, but other than that you should be fine.

 

The guy at the shop thats doing it said they won't have to roll them since the rear wheels don't turn. Is that just bogus information? Has anyone tried wheels of that depth?

 

Well, my 9.5s are a pretty tight fit in the rear, and just about every thread I've read with someone putting on 10.5s, they've had to roll their fenders. I suppose it also helps to know what width tire you're going with.

What will the offset be? This will make the difference if they will fit or not.

You'll probably be OK without rolling provided you do not lower your car. If you do you will almost certainly need to roll.

 

damn. I really wanted to lower it too. Is there some issue with rolling and cracking paint?

 

It is possible to crack the paint when rolling but an experienced body shop should be able to handle it. Though if you are really worried you can always have it trimmed with a cutting wheel. Also with a 32 offset (which I didn't read the first time through) you might still be OK with any modifications. I'd try it first just to see if you can get away with it but have your body shop waiting in the wings in case it does rub. Good luck and please post how things worked out for you. I don't think I've ever heard or 10.5 +32 so I'm really curious as to how things turn out.
