Q for people with SSR GT3
I just got these installed yesterday and I have a question - is there no valve on these things?
Took off one of the SSR valve caps and heard this hissing sound - air bleeding out of the tire. The cap itself has a rubber or ring at the top, so it appears that its intended to seal, and the stem does not have a valve
To be honest, I didn't look at the accessories that came with the rims yet. The guy at the tire place said that I need to thread on a temporary "extender" to put air in the tires since the stem is too short.
I'm confused. How the heck do you get the right about of air in if you have to thread on an extender, fill the tire, take the extender off (bleeding air the hole time) and scramble to get the cap on. Also, using the cap as a seal does not seem very reliable.
