What is eveyone's opinon on the best griping suspention without thinking about comfort. G's!!!!!! in the corner that is, is what I want to know. Springs or coilovers; doesn't matter.

Definately coilovers. Usually the N1 models or models that was designed for N1 purposes. For example, Apex'i N1 damper (there are two types, but dunno they have it for Z yet). Tein, HKS, Cusco,.... and most Japanese manufactures have coilovers designed for N1 racing.

These coilovers are designed for N1 race. In N1 race, the stuff you can do to the engine is very limited, so suspension is the major key to win the race. So when these Japanese Manufactures designed these coilovers for N1 racing, all they think about is Gs, corners,..... comfort won't win you the race.

Personaly I want a Flex system, but I don't know if they are going to be stiff enough even turned all the way down.

performance wise, Flex is not going to be as good as those N1 models.

Flex is designed for both Track and Street. Actually, Flex is more of high perfomance street coilover.

If you really want to go hardcore, screw the comfort, and turned all the way down. Tein type N1 damper is what you want to get. This is what people use for track and racing in Japan.

Go to tein usa website, then you will see desciprtion of Type N1 damper. (I don't know if they have it for 350Z yet, I think they do)
