Default What would you do?

I don't think I really feel like spending 2-3G on new wheels so I think I'm gonna get my Touring rims powdercoated.

I have a Super Black Z....would you get the rims pc'd black to match or a dark gunmetal color?

Just did some photochopping

Gunmetal

Black

I dont know what i want!

I like the idea of coating stock rims etc.... However I have seen several chromed and I think the Z looks much better with custom offsets. The stock rims just don't fit right IMO.

Save up and get what you want.

I like those a lot, but I'm trying to save as much $$$ as possible. I saw them used for about 1600...then its about 350 to powdercoat and then you gotta add on shipping back and forth which is like another 200...so i'd be almost at 2200.00 with those rims.

I would just leave the stock wheels as is and save for the set you really want. After you powder coat the stock ones you will come back to this site and see everyone with Volks, Nismo etc.... and you will think "Damn why didn't I just save up for those" Pretty soon you are trying to sell your powder coated stock wheels to help pay for the other wheels. If your not even close with funds and do not see it happening in the distant future then powder coat them gunmetal. They will have a better resale value that color.

I would just save my money until I could afford aftermarket rims.

I would get the Hiros. Even if you coat your stock rims, I have the impression it won't look good with a kit.
