biggest size lip on wheels
Whats the biggest size lip you can get on wheels? I saw a guy at the dealership today who said he wanted a 4.5" lip.

it depends on the design of the wheel, offset, ride height, fender rolling, etc..

nah! that is not a lip. Look at the wide body Zs they have huge lips.
13" wide wheels -18mm offsets. I guess that would be something like a 6.5" Lip.

i got a 4.75" lip on my 19"gt7 they are a 10.5 rear with a 24mm offfset

piaa super rozza gives you a 6 inch lip with no rubbing the rear is a 19x10.

are you kidding me? Then you havent seen the Racing Hart J8's... 5" rear lip...it look SICK..I'll have these on my car by next week. Here are a few I found on this site:

That's an interesting design on that wheel. The spokes hit the sides in the middle of the 5" so it doesn't look bad. The rest of the "lip" past where the spokes almost touch the edge just seems like the rest of the wheel. It doesn't look like a 5" lip, if that's the look you're going for, though IMHO that's a good thing.
