Smile Another set of Konig Imagines

Hi guys,
After a very long wait I now have my wheels on. There was a debate on whether or not these would fit, but they do. They will NOT fit the 2003 Track Model however.
These are 18x8.5 Konig Imagines, opal finish. I have a 2003 Touring Model with manual transmission. The tires I used were Nitto 555s; the size is 245/45/18 all the way around. These do not rub and appear to have about the same offset as the original rims (18x8 & 18x8.5). The best news of all is about the TPMs (Tire Pressure Monitors). They fit and work fine!

Here is a pix of the TPM. It's a lot smaller than I had imagined.

watch out for potholes...konig's dont hold up too well from what I've seen, I used to have the ADR Enigma's on a previous car...looks EXACTLY like the konig's... every rim was bent from the smallest potholes...

Hi,
Thanks for the advice. I was looking to move to 19"s but I had heard that rim/tire damage was a valid concern. Did the bends cause mechanical damage to the point that the wheel balance or structural integrity of the wheel was in jeopardy, or was it cosmetic?
I checked out your pixs. A very nice ride.

^ they werent't that bad, but they were small bends, still drivable. You couldnt tell from the outside, only when you took the tire off the car and looked inside on the whell...Never knew what the next pothole would do. And those rims I had before were 18's. Also had paint chipping on my wheel.

If you buy a high quality forged wheel, either 18" or 19" should hold up very well. I've had 19" Volks on my Z (3 different sets, actually) for thousands of miles without any problem whatsoever. When buying wheels, you do get what you pay for.
