Default Volk vs. SSR

I've got a Silver G35-6MT. The Volk LE37T and SSR Sovereign Wheels have caught my eye. Do these wheels compare in quality and weight. The SSRs seem to be more bling bling and the Volks seem to be more racey. What do you guys think? Are the SSRs heavy? Are Volks the bomb?

Volks are light compared to many others. It really depends on what you want. Alot of people have Volks but I guess it depends on what you like. I have heard of people bending the SSR rims, but they might have just been idiots not taking care of them. If you decide on one let me know, we sell both brands. I personally like the way the volks look better. These are pretty nice too

Default SSR's are race quality

If you watch any of the speedvision series, you will see many SSR wheels on the race cars. They are very light and very strong. Volks are great. So are SSR's. If you want to follow the crowd, buy Volks. If you want to blaze your own path, buy SSR's.

Nice website VividRacing! I added it to my favorites. I was thinking about "upgading" to 19 inch diameter. Those SSR comp wheels only go up to 18 inch. I bet they are very light with a 18 inch tire through, I will def keep that in mind. Thanks

Those SSR Varden Velbrets look very similar to the Works mesh I believe. Only one set has been sold at 2K (each wheel). How much for the Velbrets? I need to attend an LA meet or go to SEMA I think. I want to see wheels installed on the cars in person. I don't want to be disappointed.

JGTC 350Z used SSR also.

It depend which SSR you get. There are low end SSR and High end SSR, ususally the one that you can get from tire rack are the lower end one.

I have Professor SP1 with black face on my fully stock SB Z, and My Z turned lots of head after I install them.

Now, WORKS are very good too, but they are expensive.

I will say, VOLKS, WORKS, SSR are in the same class.

SSR makes the Comp in 19" size. It's called the Type C. You can't get it from Tire Rack... you'd have to go to an importer like Bulletproof. kzshin is right... basically SSR, Work and Volk are identical or nearly so in quality. Everyone just goes for Volk b/c many vendors sell them and Rays has more brand visibility.

Thanks guys. How bout it VividRacing, can you get Type Cs in 19 diameter. Also, needs to be silver to somewhat match my Brilliant Silver G. I'd like 9 inch fronts and 10 inch backs if possible.
