Default Wheel Locks

I purchased Track Wheels a few months ago, and I am wanting to put some wheel locks on.

Any good ones out there? Should I put one on each wheel or two?

Thanks for any suggestions, prices, ect.

I was going to get some wheel locks too but to spend $50 for some Gorilla locks or $100 for 2 sets wasn't worth it. There have been a few thefts of the stock rims and believe it or not the MSRP is $1,500 per wheel and $200 per tire giving you an out the door price of $6,800 (for track wheels/rims).

What I am saying is a thief that wants your wheels/rims, he will take them at will and getting a check from insurnace for $6,800 minus deductible ain't bad.

Plus the lugnuts are stronger that wheel locks (in terms of cornering and safety).

Now in Massachusetts, claims due to theft don't increase your premium. And if I did get some wheel locks, they aren't covered.

So my point being, if the thief tried really hard and couldn't even tually get your rims but really messed up your wheels/tires, you are f#$ked.

$hitty I know. Someone lifted my emblem last week. I'd rather not give punks and thieves the satisfaction of stealing from me, but you gotta be realistic. Can't catch 'em.

Go to your local Pepboys. I found some decent chrome wheel locks for $25. All you need is one set, just put one lock on each wheel.

I would not recommend the ones at Pep Boys as those have become too common. I would get Kyokugen wheel locks.
