Default Biggest possible sidewall?

I am looking into getting a set of 19x8.5 Axis Milanos all around (eliminating the staggered set up) and wanted to get the biggest sidewall possible.

I was planning on running 245/35s all around, but I'm afraid that the sidewall might be too small... and I definitely don't want to be blowing out tires all the time (the roads can really suck around here).

Will 245/40s fit on the Z on 19x8.5" rims, or will I get fender rub?

Thanks in advance...

not an expert on the subject or anything, but being that you dont have vdc, it should be ok. i heard that non-staggered wheels with vdc may cause problems.

as far as the 245/40/19, that would be the correct size tire in the rear on a 8.5. (most run 275/35/19s on a 9.5 or 10.5)there shouldnt be any rub. the front, will be 1" larger overall, but shouldn't really be a problem.

someone correct me if i am wrong.

btw, welcome to the forum.

Zpilot on 350ZMotoring is running SP 9000s ( 245/40/19's) on a 8.5__+35offset rim and has no problems.

I'm actually considering 255/40/19's to match the diameter of 295/35/19's. I dont' want the jacked up 70's muscle car look to my Z because of side wall differences. Nice and even...
