Default Buying one Tire

I have somehow ran over 2 screws, which went into nearly the sidewall of my tires, making them unpatchable. Is it a good idea to replace just one tire in the front? The tires are the Pilot Sports and have about 7k miles on them. I spent a lot on them and didn't get the road hazard warranty.

Are there any cheaper tires than these that are still better than the stock ones?

Replace them both. As a rule of thumb, if you damage one tire on an axel, and have more than 5K miles on it, replace them both. Especially on a Performance Car. But, you knew that, didn't you?

if you want to go cheap i know there are federals and khumos...i have both of them at my shop in our size and they dont look bad at all. id prefer the federals over khumos tho, very agressive looking.

Look at Dunlop SP9000s. Your driving a Performance Car, you really don't want to skip on the tires. IMO, the Dunlops have the Best Performance/Price ratio out there.
