I have just purchased C4's for my Z. I put 10"s in the rear. It has a very wide lip and now the clear coat is lifting from stuff I picked up on the road possibly through a puddle?

I brought back to the shop and they looked at me like I was crazy and they told me I must have screwed them up. I insured them that I only wash my ride...(I am too **** and broke after the rims to let someone touch the car).

Any thoughts on how I should approach this? Anyone with this type of problem. Looks as if something ate through the clear coat.

Last can you polish the lips of the rims?

You can't polish the lips unless you want to totally remove the clearcoat from them.

I dont know what to tell you about the stain ... try contacting racing hart .. maybe get it covered under warranty
